Each quail is fed a cereal-rich, vegetarian, GMO-Free feed. As a result, the meat is luxuriously tender with a sweet, nutty flavor.

Quail, unlike chicken, is full of rich, moist and tender dark meat. No matter how it is prepared, it will provide you with an incredibly flavorful delicacy.

Because of its small size, quail makes a very versatile dish. For a delicious entrée, serve two birds, or try something lighter and serve one bird for an appetizer.

Cut and packaged fresh, then immediately frozen to ensure maximum freshness. For best taste, use within 1-2 days of thawing.

Cooking Tips

Quail should be cooked to an internal temperature of 150°F, and is best either roasted or grilled. When cooking, sear over high heat, then finish roasting over indirect heat.

For roasting, cook in the oven at a high temperature (450-500°F). Place the quail in the oven and roast for 10 to 15 minutes.
