Recipe courtesy of the Certified Angus Beef ® Brand

Ingredients:

4 (8oz) Certified Angus Beef ® Top Sirloin Steaks, cut into 1 ¼-inch cubes (can substitute Certified Angus Beef ® Stew Meat)

1 ½ cups (12oz can) frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed

1/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup light molasses

1-inch segment fresh ginger, peeled and minced (or 1 teaspoon ground ginger)

1/4 cup rice vinegar

1 large red onion, cut into 1 ¼-inch pieces

2 large red bell peppers, seeded and cut into 1 ¼-inch pieces

1 medium fresh pineapple, cut into 1 ¼-inch cubes

8 bamboo or metal skewers

Instructions:

To begin with, whisk together orange juice concentrate, soy sauce, molasses, vinegar and ginger. Put steak cubes in a large zipper locking plastic bag then cover with half of the marinade (save remaining marinade for later). Remove air from bag and zip closed, then refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.

If using bamboo skewers, soak in water before assembling kabobs.

Once steak has marinated, assemble kabobs alternating steak, onion, red pepper and pineapple on skewers. Discard remaining marinade from bag.

Preheat grill to medium-high heat. While grill is preheating, heat reserved marinade in a small saucepan. Grill kabobs for 4 to 8 minutes for medium rare, turning frequently. Brush kabobs with the warm marinade while they are grilling.
